Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Real Estate Development, Energy & Utilities and Media & Publishing sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 2.02%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Takween Advanced Industries (SE:1201), which rose 9.95% or 1.10 points to trade at 12.15 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE:8060) added 9.85% or 1.30 points to end at 14.50 and United Wire Factories Company (SE:1301) was up 9.78% or 1.80 points to 20.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240), which fell 5.38% or 1.50 points to trade at 26.40 at the close. Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Company (SE:4001) declined 2.74% or 2.00 points to end at 71.00 and Herfy Food Services Co (SE:6002) was down 2.69% or 1.75 points to 63.25.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 145 to 15 and 9 ended unchanged.
Shares in Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240) fell to 5-year lows; losing 5.38% or 1.50 to 26.40.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.08% or 0.04 to $48.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.12% or 0.06 to hit $50.95 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 1.45% or 19.05 to trade at $1293.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.05% to 4.2078, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7518.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.54% at 96.17.
