Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Real Estate Development, Telecoms & IT and Media & Publishing sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 1.37% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were United Electronics Company (SE:4003), which rose 9.45% or 2.60 points to trade at 30.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Mobile Telecommunications Company (SE:7030) added 9.43% or 0.75 points to end at 8.70 and Middle East Paper Co (SE:1202) was up 8.38% or 1.65 points to 21.35 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110), which fell 4.78% or 0.50 points to trade at 9.95 at the close. Southern Province Cement Co. (SE:3050) declined 4.08% or 3.25 points to end at 76.50 and The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030) was down 1.59% or 0.35 points to 21.60.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 137 to 21 and 9 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $41.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.29% or 0.12 to hit $41.42 a barrel, while the April Gold contract fell 0.71% or 9.00 to trade at $1256.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.43% to 4.2265, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.32% at 95.07.
