Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Transport and Financial Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 1.22%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Banque Saudi Fransi (SE:1050), which rose 6.85% or 1.25 points to trade at 19.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Industrial Services Co. (SE:2190) added 5.95% or 0.75 points to end at 13.35 and Fitaihi Holding Group (SE:4180) was up 5.42% or 0.55 points to 10.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (SE:8270), which fell 9.12% or 1.65 points to trade at 16.45 at the close. Arriyadh Development Co. (SE:4150) declined 3.24% or 0.60 points to end at 17.90 and Saudi Cement Company (SE:3030) was down 2.88% or 1.50 points to 50.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 112 to 45 and 12 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.47% or 0.73 to $50.54 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.41% or 0.73 to hit $52.66 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.84% or 10.55 to trade at $1262.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.42% to 4.1842, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7514.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.34% at 96.85.
