Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Transport, Real Estate Development and Petrochemicals sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 1.13%.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were SABB Takaful (SE:8080), which rose 9.96% or 3.38 points to trade at 37.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Alamiya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8280) added 9.63% or 4.70 points to end at 53.50 and Aljazira Takaful Taawuni Company (SE:8012) was up 9.23% or 3.11 points to 36.80 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were National Agriculture Marketing Co. (SE:4160), which fell 9.80% or 4.67 points to trade at 43.00 at the close. Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070) declined 9.66% or 5.64 points to end at 52.75 and Trade Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8170) was down 7.89% or 1.86 points to 21.70.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 124 to 42.

Shares in National Agriculture Marketing Co. (SE:4160) fell to 52-week lows; falling 9.80% or 4.67 to 43.00. Shares in Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070) fell to 3-years lows; losing 9.66% or 5.64 to 52.75. Shares in Trade Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8170) fell to 52-week lows; down 7.89% or 1.86 to 21.70.

Crude oil for October delivery was up 6.31% or 2.69 to $45.24 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 4.93% or 2.35 to hit $49.91 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.92% or 10.30 to trade at $1132.90 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.52% to 4.1943, while USD/SAR rose 0.03% to 3.7516.

The US Dollar Index was up 0.42% at 96.14.
