Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Telecoms & IT and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.68%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Abdullah A. M. Al-Khodari Sons Co (SE:1330), which rose 4.59% or 1.30 points to trade at 29.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210) added 4.52% or 0.75 points to end at 17.35 and Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (SE:8210) was up 4.48% or 11.42 points to 266.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Automotive Services Co. (SE:4050), which fell 7.02% or 2.40 points to trade at 31.80 at the close. Alinma Tokio Marine Co (SE:8312) declined 5.21% or 2.54 points to end at 46.20 and City Cement Co (SE:3003) was down 2.66% or 0.64 points to 23.40.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 103 to 62.
Shares in Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (SE:8210) rose to all time highs; rising 4.48% or 11.42 to 266.50.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.40% or 0.74 to $52.30 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.41% or 0.83 to hit $57.85 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.63% or 7.30 to trade at $1146.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.63% to 4.1025, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7500.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.62% at 97.41.
