Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Cement and Hotels & Tourism sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.61%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210), which rose 6.09% or 1.70 points to trade at 29.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Int Petrochemical Co (SE:2310) added 3.33% or 0.45 points to end at 13.95 and Saudi Ground Services Co (SE:4031) was up 3.29% or 1.40 points to 44.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Malath Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8020), which fell 2.84% or 0.30 points to trade at 10.25 at the close. Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310) declined 2.29% or 0.20 points to end at 8.55 and Arabian Pipes Company (SE:2200) was down 1.97% or 0.30 points to 14.90.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 114 to 33 and 22 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.58% or 0.72 to $46.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.29% or 0.62 to hit $48.60 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.12% or 1.60 to trade at $1347.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.63% to 4.2417, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.36% at 94.61.
