Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Telecoms & IT, Insurance and Petrochemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.61%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were National Industrialization Co (SE:2060), which rose 7.26% or 0.90 points to trade at 13.30 at the close. Meanwhile, AL-BABTAIN POWER &TELECOM CO (SE:2320) added 5.46% or 1.60 points to end at 30.90 and The National Co for Glass Industrie (SE:2150) was up 4.99% or 1.10 points to 23.15 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tabuk Agriculture Development Co (SE:6040), which fell 3.66% or 0.45 points to trade at 11.85 at the close. Saudi Marke (SE:4006) declined 2.55% or 1.20 points to end at 45.80 and Saudi Printing & Packaging Company (SE:4270) was down 1.72% or 0.40 points to 22.85.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 102 to 34 and 32 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.57% or 0.27 to $47.99 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.02% or 0.01 to hit $48.96 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.07% or 0.85 to trade at $1273.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.07% to 4.2428, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7500.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.05% at 94.58.
