Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Real Estate Development, Transport and Agriculture & Food sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.25%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Basic Chemical Industries Co (SE:1210), which rose 3.56% or 1.10 points to trade at 32.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Fitaihi Holding Group (SE:4180) added 3.44% or 0.55 points to end at 16.55 and Jabal Omar Development Company (SE:4250) was up 3.21% or 2.00 points to 64.25 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which fell 3.19% or 0.30 points to trade at 9.10 at the close. Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140) declined 2.55% or 0.20 points to end at 7.65 and Filing & Packing Materials Co. (SE:2180) was down 2.30% or 1.00 points to 42.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 81 to 58 and 30 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 2.10% or 1.02 to $49.58 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 2.16% or 1.06 to hit $50.23 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.87% or 11.25 to trade at $1283.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.66% to 4.2573, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7503.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.75% at 93.59.
