Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Building & Construction, Retail and Petrochemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.24%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Arabian Cooperative Insurance (SE:8100), which rose 9.92% or 2.60 points to trade at 28.80 at the close. Meanwhile, SABB Takaful (SE:8080) added 7.87% or 3.62 points to end at 49.60 and Food Products Co. (SE:2100) was up 5.84% or 2.35 points to 42.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Arabian Shield Coop Insurance Co (SE:8070), which fell 2.30% or 1.04 points to trade at 44.20 at the close. Malath Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8020) declined 2.19% or 0.76 points to end at 33.90 and National Petrochemical Company (SE:2002) was down 1.88% or 0.52 points to 27.20.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 115 to 50.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.10% or 0.66 to $60.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.38% or 0.24 to hit $65.12 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.48% or 5.70 to trade at $1194.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 1.78% to 4.1720, while USD/SAR fell 0.05% to 3.7496.
The US Dollar Index was down 1.37% at 96.19.
