Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Petrochemicals, Financial Services and Building & Construction sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.10%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Steel Pipe Company (SE:1320), which rose 9.24% or 2.20 points to trade at 26.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Transport & Investment Co (SE:4110) added 6.96% or 4.00 points to end at 61.50 and Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (SE:8180) was up 5.88% or 1.40 points to 25.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al-Tayyar Travel Group Holding Co. (SE:1810), which fell 7.81% or 6.25 points to trade at 73.75 at the close. The National Co for Glass Industrie (SE:2150) declined 4.35% or 1.40 points to end at 30.80 and Saudi Company for Hardware (SE:4008) was down 3.46% or 4.00 points to 111.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 103 to 63.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.07% or 0.50 to $46.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.55% or 0.28 to hit $49.41 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.77% or 9.00 to trade at $1174.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.59% to 4.2935, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.56% at 94.28.
