Investing.com – Portugal stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Technology, Consumer Services and Basic Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Lisbon, the PSI 20 fell 0.49%.
The best performers of the session on the PSI 20 were Corticeira Amorim (LS:CORA), which rose 4.38% or 0.399 points to trade at 9.500 at the close. Meanwhile, Mota Engil (LS:MOTA) added 3.63% or 0.0650 points to end at 1.8550 and Banco Comercial Portugues (LS:BCP) was up 1.30% or 0.0002 points to 0.0156 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were CTT Correios de Portugal SA (LS:CTT), which fell 2.27% or 0.1370 points to trade at 5.9000 at the close. Nos SGPS SA (LS:NOS) declined 1.68% or 0.0990 points to end at 5.7910 and J. Martins SGPS (LS:JMT) was down 1.60% or 0.2600 points to 15.9600.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Lisbon Stock Exchange by 23 to 21 and 8 ended unchanged.

Brent oil for December delivery was down 1.19% or 0.62 to $51.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 1.31% or 0.66 to hit $49.69 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.12% or 1.45 to trade at $1256.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.19% to 1.0993, while EUR/GBP rose 0.19% to 0.9020.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.17% at 97.91.
