Investing.com – Portugal stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Technology, Industrials and Utilities sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Lisbon, the PSI 20 fell 0.01% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the PSI 20 were Pharol SGPS SA (LISBON:PHRA), which rose 5.15% or 0.0195 points to trade at 0.3985 at the close. Meanwhile, Sonae (LISBON:YSO) added 2.92% or 0.0335 points to end at 1.1815 and Banco BPI (LISBON:BBPI) was up 1.54% or 0.0190 points to 1.2550 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Impresa SGPS (LISBON:IMPA), which fell 5.63% or 0.04 points to trade at 0.76 at the close. Teixeira Duarte (LISBON:TDSA) declined 4.11% or 0.0220 points to end at 0.5130 and EDP Renovaveis (LISBON:EDPRu) was down 2.10% or 0.1360 points to 6.3350.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Lisbon Stock Exchange by 40 to 25 and 5 ended unchanged.

Brent oil for August delivery was up 0.65% or 0.41 to $64.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in August rose 0.70% or 0.42 to hit $60.75 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 1.95% or 22.90 to trade at $1199.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.31% to 1.1373, while EUR/GBP rose 0.15% to 0.7171.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.24% at 94.25.
