Investing.com – Peru stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrials, Banking & Financials and Non-Metal Minerals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Lima, the S&P Lima General declined 0.24%.
The best performers of the session on the S&P Lima General were Cem Pacasmayo (LM:CPA), which rose 1.74% or 0.110 points to trade at 6.440 at the close. Meanwhile, Milpo (LM:MIL) added 1.12% or 0.030 points to end at 2.710 and Sociedad Minera el Brocal SAA (LM:BRO) was up 0.80% or 0.050 points to 6.300 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ferreyros (LM:FER), which fell 4.14% or 0.070 points to trade at 1.620 at the close. Minsur (LM:MINi) declined 3.08% or 0.040 points to end at 1.260 and Atacocha (LM:ATB) was down 2.37% or 0.008 points to 0.330.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Lima Stock Exchange by 13 to 11 and 10 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.28% or 0.60 to $47.37 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.26% or 0.62 to hit $49.67 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.37% or 4.95 to trade at $1324.75 a troy ounce.
USD/PEN was unchanged 0.00% to 3.3495, while EUR/PEN unchanged 0.00% to 3.7857.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.05% at 94.68.
