Investing.com – Peru stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Agriculture, Non-Metal Minerals and Electricity sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Lima, the Lima Stock Exchange General declined 0.03%.
The best performers of the session on the Lima Stock Exchange General were Trevali Mining (LM:TV), which rose 2.22% or 0.020 points to trade at 0.920 at the close. Meanwhile, Grana Y Monter (LM:GRA) added 1.99% or 0.100 points to end at 5.120 and Buenaventura (LM:BVN) was up 1.00% or 0.110 points to 11.110 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ferreyros (LM:FER), which fell 4.35% or 0.060 points to trade at 1.320 at the close. Unacem (LM:CEL) declined 2.98% or 0.070 points to end at 2.280 and Aceros Arequip (LM:AREi) was down 2.94% or 0.010 points to 0.340.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Lima Stock Exchange by 10 to 8 and 5 ended unchanged.
Shares in Aceros Arequip (LM:AREi) fell to 3-years lows; falling 2.94% or 0.010 to 0.340.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.96% or 0.56 to $57.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.73% or 0.47 to hit $65.33 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 1.34% or 16.00 to trade at $1178.30 a troy ounce.
USD/PEN was up 0.10% to 3.1355, while EUR/PEN rose 0.79% to 3.3907.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.32% at 97.12.
