Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Energy, Consumer Durables And Apparel and Diversified Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.52%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT), which rose 6.09% or 0.85 points to trade at 14.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Opera Software ASA (OL:OPERA) added 3.54% or 1.80 points to end at 52.60 and Det norske oljeselskap ASA (OL:DETNOR) was up 2.18% or 1.20 points to 56.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Yara International ASA (OL:YAR), which fell 2.02% or 8.0 points to trade at 388.2 at the close. Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL) declined 1.99% or 1.1 points to end at 54.1 and Renewable Energy Corporation ASA (OL:REC) was down 1.98% or 0.04 points to 1.93.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 101 to 76 and 2 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 2.37% or 1.02 to $42.02 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.15% or 0.53 to hit $44.94 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 1.21% or 13.00 to trade at $1057.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.23% to 9.2120, while USD/NOK rose 0.37% to 8.6953.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.25% at 100.11.
