Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Technology Hardware & Equipment, Software & Computer Services and Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.10%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Bw Lpg (OSLO:BWLPG), which rose 4.29% or 2.20 points to trade at 53.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Renewable Energy Corporation ASA (OSLO:REC) added 2.62% or 0.04 points to end at 1.41 and Schibsted ASA A (OSLO:SBSTA) was up 2.41% or 6.3 points to 267.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OSLO:PGS), which fell 4.83% or 1.80 points to trade at 35.44 at the close. Akastor ASA (OSLO:AKAS) declined 4.70% or 0.6 points to end at 11.2 and DNO International ASA (OSLO:DNO) was down 3.01% or 0.29 points to 9.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 92 to 81 and 2 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 4.16% or 1.89 to $43.52 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 3.10% or 1.53 to hit $48.02 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.46% or 5.20 to trade at $1134.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 1.06% to 9.2776, while USD/NOK fell 0.37% to 8.2530.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.44% at 95.81.
