Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Diversified Financials, Media and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.01%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Seadrill Limited (OSLO:SDRL), which rose 0.89% or 0.8 points to trade at 96.8 at the close. Meanwhile, Aker Solutions OL (OSLO:AKSOL) added 0.63% or 0.29 points to end at 46.60 and Telenor ASA (OSLO:TEL) was up 0.50% or 0.9 points to 179.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bw Lpg (OSLO:BWLPG), which fell 8.82% or 6.15 points to trade at 63.55 at the close. Renewable Energy Corporation ASA (OSLO:REC) declined 5.44% or 0.10 points to end at 1.72 and Opera Software ASA (OSLO:OPERA) was down 3.17% or 2.25 points to 68.75.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 107 to 72 and 4 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.41% or 0.82 to $58.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.38% or 0.89 to hit $64.91 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.17% or 2.00 to trade at $1208.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.15% to 8.4076, while USD/NOK rose 0.72% to 7.5855.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.39% at 95.74.
