Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Holding Companies, Real Estate and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares fell 0.62%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Dari Couspate SA (CS:DRI), which rose 5.34% or 112 points to trade at 2209 at the close. Meanwhile, Promopharm S.A. (CS:PRO) added 3.39% or 40 points to end at 1220 and Med Paper (CS:PAP) was up 2.70% or 0.50 points to 19.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were IB Maroc Com SA (CS:IBC), which fell 9.96% or 12.40 points to trade at 112.10 at the close. Stokvis Nord Afrique (CS:SNA) declined 7.13% or 1.69 points to end at 22.00 and Taslif (CS:TSF1) was down 5.98% or 2.39 points to 37.61.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 27 to 11 and 3 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.87% or 1.41 to $47.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 2.91% or 1.48 to hit $49.40 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.22% or 2.95 to trade at $1343.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.13% to 10.9620, while USD/MAD rose 0.01% to 9.6700.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.05% at 94.53.
