Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Holding Companies, Insurance and Mining sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares fell 0.39% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Delattre Levivier Maroc (CS:DLM), which rose 5.69% or 11.90 points to trade at 221.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Stokvis Nord Afrique (CS:SNA) added 2.12% or 0.58 points to end at 27.90 and Cosumar (CS:CSMR) was up 1.91% or 3 points to 181 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Alliances (CS:ADI), which fell 6.94% or 10 points to trade at 134 at the close. Afric Industries Sa (CS:AFIND) declined 6.00% or 18.90 points to end at 296.10 and Zellidja S.A (CS:ZELI) was down 5.81% or 14.95 points to 242.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 26 to 11 and 2 ended unchanged.
Shares in Zellidja S.A (CS:ZELI) fell to all time lows; falling 5.81% or 14.95 to 242.00.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 1.25% or 0.72 to $57.02 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.29% or 0.18 to hit $65.03 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 1.42% or 16.90 to trade at $1177.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.19% to 10.7490, while USD/MAD fell 0.26% to 9.8850.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.38% at 97.06.
