Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Telecoms, Mining and Distributors sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares declined 0.25%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Stokvis Nord Afrique (CS:SNA), which rose 9.97% or 2.76 points to trade at 30.42 at the close. Meanwhile, Rebab Company (CS:REBA) added 5.96% or 6.70 points to end at 119.05 and Ib Maroc.Com (CS:IBMC) was up 5.26% or 5.00 points to 100.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Delattre Levivier Maroc (CS:DLM), which fell 5.65% or 12.55 points to trade at 209.50 at the close. Ennakl (CS:NAKL) declined 4.19% or 1.70 points to end at 38.80 and Cartier Saada (CS:CRS) was down 4.00% or 0.75 points to 18.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 13 to 13 and 5 ended unchanged.
Shares in Delattre Levivier Maroc (CS:DLM) fell to 52-week lows; falling 5.65% or 12.55 to 209.50.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 1.19% or 0.67 to $55.72 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.83% or 0.53 to hit $62.80 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.32% or 3.90 to trade at $1197.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.08% to 10.7080, while USD/MAD fell 0.36% to 9.9685.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.56% at 97.99.
