Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Transport, Real Estate and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares declined 0.18%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Promopharm S.A. (CS:PRO), which rose 9.97% or 117 points to trade at 1290 at the close. Meanwhile, Delta Holding S.A (CS:DHO) added 9.95% or 2.09 points to end at 23.08 and Realis. Mecaniques (CS:SRM) was up 9.94% or 18.30 points to 202.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Micro Data SA (CS:MIC), which fell 3.47% or 4.90 points to trade at 136.10 at the close. Total Maroc SA (CS:TMA) declined 2.06% or 12.9 points to end at 611.1 and CTM (CS:CTM) was down 1.76% or 9.90 points to 550.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 23 to 16 and 7 ended unchanged.
Shares in Promopharm S.A. (CS:PRO) rose to all time highs; gaining 9.97% or 117 to 1290.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 1.48% or 0.59 to $39.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.84% or 0.34 to hit $40.13 a barrel, while the April Gold contract fell 0.28% or 3.40 to trade at $1220.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.16% to 10.8840, while USD/MAD rose 0.01% to 9.7442.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.10% at 96.16.
