Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Invest Companies & Other Finance, Utilities and Construction & Building Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares declined 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Delta Holding S.A (CS:DHO), which rose 3.35% or 0.74 points to trade at 22.84 at the close. Meanwhile, S2M (CS:S2M) added 3.25% or 6.30 points to end at 199.90 and Med Paper (CS:PAP) was up 2.96% or 0.54 points to 18.77 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Maghrebail (CS:MAB), which fell 5.86% or 51 points to trade at 819 at the close. Eqdom (CS:EQDM) declined 4.58% or 48 points to end at 1000 and Cartier Saada (CS:CRS) was down 3.44% or 0.68 points to 19.07.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 22 to 20 and 6 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.68% or 0.32 to $46.54 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.84% or 0.41 to hit $48.20 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 1.39% or 17.65 to trade at $1290.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.43% to 10.8640, while USD/MAD fell 0.41% to 9.8281.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.57% at 97.76.
