Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Forestry & Paper, Utilities and Mining sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares fell 0.01%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Aluminum du Maroc SA (CS:ALU), which rose 5.99% or 55 points to trade at 980 at the close. Meanwhile, Alliances (CS:ADI) added 4.10% or 2 points to end at 64 and Sonasid (CS:SOND) was up 3.23% or 11 points to 350 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Dari Couspate SA (CS:DRI), which fell 5.64% or 119 points to trade at 1990 at the close. CIH (CS:CIH) declined 3.89% or 11.00 points to end at 272.00 and Realis. Mecaniques (CS:SRM) was down 3.27% or 7.95 points to 235.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 25 to 13 and 9 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.19% or 0.96 to $42.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.76% or 0.82 to hit $45.77 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.48% or 6.35 to trade at $1311.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.32% to 10.8850, while USD/MAD rose 0.50% to 9.7557.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.76% at 96.00.
