Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Real Estate, Software & Computer Services and Hotels, Restaurants & Leisure sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares added 0.52% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Alliances (CS:ADI), which rose 9.99% or 8 points to trade at 89 at the close. Meanwhile, Involys (CS:INV) added 5.00% or 5.00 points to end at 105.00 and Disway SA (CS:DWY) was up 3.81% or 11.00 points to 300.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Med Paper (CS:PAP), which fell 4.96% or 0.94 points to trade at 18.01 at the close. Fenie Brossette (CS:FBR) declined 2.99% or 2.74 points to end at 88.77 and Cartier Saada (CS:CRS) was down 2.33% or 0.50 points to 21.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 29 to 13 and 6 ended unchanged.
Shares in Alliances (CS:ADI) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 9.99% or 8 to 89. Shares in Fenie Brossette (CS:FBR) fell to all time lows; losing 2.99% or 2.74 to 88.77. Shares in Disway SA (CS:DWY) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 3.81% or 11.00 to 300.00.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 2.95% or 1.47 to $51.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 2.37% or 1.23 to hit $53.16 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.63% or 7.85 to trade at $1259.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.19% to 10.8790, while USD/MAD rose 0.30% to 9.7650.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.39% at 96.90.
