Investing.com – Italy stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Healthcare, Financials and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 rose 1.43%.
The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were Unicredit (MI:CRDI), which rose 7.59% or 0.2120 points to trade at 3.0040 at the close. Meanwhile, Azimut Holding (MI:AZMT) added 3.97% or 0.74 points to end at 19.38 and Yoox Net-A-Porter Group SpA (MI:YNAP) was up 3.71% or 0.87 points to 24.33 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were FinecoBank Banca Fineco SpA (MI:FBK), which fell 2.68% or 0.17 points to trade at 6.36 at the close. CNH Industrial NV (MI:CNHI) declined 0.74% or 0.045 points to end at 6.010 and UBI Banca (MI:UBI) was down 0.58% or 0.0200 points to 3.4540.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 247 to 152 and 24 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.16% or 0.08 to $48.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.04% or 0.02 to hit $48.79 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.29% or 3.60 to trade at $1251.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.07% to 1.1210, while EUR/GBP rose 0.77% to 0.7727.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.14% at 95.43.
