Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Communication, Oil & Gas and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 fell 1.04%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were Perrigo (TA:PRGO), which rose 0.85% or 600 points to trade at 70900 at the close. Meanwhile, Mizrahi Tefahot (TA:MZTF) added 0.21% or 10 points to end at 4860 and Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA) was up 0.07% or 10 points to 14170 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bezeq (TA:BEZQ), which fell 2.41% or 16.0 points to trade at 649.0 at the close. Elbit Systems (TA:ESLT) declined 2.38% or 720 points to end at 29480 and Discount (TA:DSCT) was down 2.37% or 16.9 points to 696.7.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 216 to 120 and 118 ended unchanged.
Shares in Mizrahi Tefahot (TA:MZTF) rose to all time highs; up 0.21% or 10 to 4860.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.71% or 0.43 to $59.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.95% or 0.61 to hit $64.03 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.19% or 2.20 to trade at $1181.40 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.28% to 3.8331, while EUR/ILS fell 0.41% to 4.3137.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.11% at 95.34.
