Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Real Estate, Insurance and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 lost 0.23%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were Poalim (TA:POLI), which rose 1.60% or 32 points to trade at 2030 at the close. Meanwhile, Leumi (TA:LUMI) added 1.32% or 20 points to end at 1540 and Isramco L (TA:ISRAp) was up 0.90% or 0.7 points to 78.3 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Delek Group (TA:DLEKG), which fell 2.06% or 2400 points to trade at 114100 at the close. Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) declined 2.02% or 35 points to end at 1699 and OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) was down 1.44% or 99 points to 6770.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 174 to 171 and 110 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.31% or 0.18 to $57.85 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.39% or 0.89 to hit $62.84 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.03% or 0.30 to trade at $1187.50 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.08% to 3.8799, while EUR/ILS fell 0.06% to 4.2203.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.15% at 97.53.
