Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Communication, Banking and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 declined 0.15%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were Israel Corp (TA:ILCO), which rose 7.35% or 5300 points to trade at 77400 at the close. Meanwhile, Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) added 2.05% or 1330 points to end at 66250 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL) was up 1.93% or 35 points to 1852 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Perrigo (TA:PRGO), which fell 2.37% or 1170 points to trade at 48260 at the close. Elbit Systems (TA:ESLT) declined 1.83% or 690 points to end at 37010 and Frutarom (TA:FRUT) was down 0.95% or 190 points to 19800.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 200 to 146 and 106 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 1.86% or 0.82 to $43.36 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 1.83% or 0.84 to hit $44.96 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.20% or 2.50 to trade at $1251.90 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.01% to 3.7661, while EUR/ILS fell 0.08% to 4.2510.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.04% at 94.58.
