Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Communication, Financials and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 declined 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were Azrieli Group (TA:AZRG), which rose 3.04% or 480 points to trade at 16290 at the close. Meanwhile, OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) added 1.73% or 94 points to end at 5533 and Melisron (TA:MLSR) was up 1.07% or 160 points to 15130 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bezeq (TA:BEZQ), which fell 2.38% or 17.0 points to trade at 697.0 at the close. Frutarom (TA:FRUT) declined 2.20% or 340 points to end at 15110 and First International Bank of Israel (TA:FTIN) was down 1.57% or 84 points to 5265.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 187 to 151 and 119 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.37% or 0.22 to $59.17 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.85% or 0.56 to hit $65.60 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.14% or 1.70 to trade at $1187.20 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.08% to 3.8587, while EUR/ILS fell 0.54% to 4.3019.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.24% at 95.14.
