Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Insurance, Real Estate and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 fell 0.07%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL), which rose 3.64% or 57 points to trade at 1621 at the close. Meanwhile, Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) added 3.26% or 2120 points to end at 67120 and Bezeq (TA:BEZQ) was up 2.50% or 18.0 points to 738.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Perrigo (TA:PRGO), which fell 2.06% or 760 points to trade at 36100 at the close. Nice (TA:NICE) declined 2.04% or 500 points to end at 24060 and Melisron (TA:MLSR) was down 1.95% or 300 points to 15060.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 163 to 158 and 118 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.63% or 0.31 to $49.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.64% or 0.32 to hit $50.20 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.31% or 3.95 to trade at $1266.05 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.47% to 3.8244, while EUR/ILS fell 0.03% to 4.3410.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.30% at 93.53.
