Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Communication, Insurance and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 lost 0.01% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were Paz Oil (TA:PZOL), which rose 2.35% or 1370 points to trade at 59660 at the close. Meanwhile, Isramco L (TA:ISRAp) added 2.19% or 1.7 points to end at 79.3 and Mizrahi Tefahot (TA:MZTF) was up 1.52% or 69 points to 4604 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Osem (TA:OSEM), which fell 2.20% or 174 points to trade at 7726 at the close. Bezeq (TA:BEZQ) declined 2.13% or 13.9 points to end at 640.1 and Perrigo (TA:PRGO) was down 1.94% or 1390 points to 70240.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 200 to 130 and 122 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.76% or 1.05 to $58.58 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.72% or 1.08 to hit $62.17 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.26% or 3.00 to trade at $1176.20 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.37% to 3.7786, while EUR/ILS fell 0.59% to 4.2128.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.07% at 95.53.
