Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Biomed, Technology and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 gained 1.03%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were Delek Group (TA:DLEKG), which rose 2.48% or 1600 points to trade at 66150 at the close. Meanwhile, Nice (TA:NICE) added 2.39% or 520 points to end at 22320 and Melisron (TA:MLSR) was up 1.84% or 230 points to 12730 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Osem (TA:OSEM), which fell 0.19% or 15 points to trade at 8070 at the close. Strauss Group (TA:STRS) declined 0.06% or 3 points to end at 5386 and Azrieli Group (TA:AZRG) was up 0.21% or 30 points to 14140.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 277 to 59 and 118 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 10.89% or 2.85 to $29.07 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 9.07% or 2.73 to hit $32.78 a barrel, while the April Gold contract fell 0.75% or 9.40 to trade at $1238.40 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.22% to 3.8802, while EUR/ILS fell 0.42% to 4.3841.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.37% at 95.99.
