Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Real Estate, Communication and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 rose 0.52%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were Nice Ltd (TA:NICE), which rose 4.12% or 960 points to trade at 24270 at the close. Meanwhile, Azrieli Group (TA:AZRG) added 2.85% or 450 points to end at 16230 and Melisron (TA:MLSR) was up 2.18% or 330 points to 15480 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Leumi (TA:LUMI), which fell 1.87% or 26 points to trade at 1361 at the close. Avner L (TA:AVNRp) declined 1.46% or 3.7 points to end at 250.3 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL) was down 1.38% or 21 points to 1503.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 207 to 111 and 120 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 2.59% or 1.24 to $49.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 2.42% or 1.19 to hit $50.45 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.74% or 9.75 to trade at $1327.65 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.48% to 3.8545, while EUR/ILS fell 0.21% to 4.2768.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.41% at 95.80.
