Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Communication, Banking and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 rose 0.39%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were Avner L (TA:AVNRp), which rose 3.43% or 10.8 points to trade at 326.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) added 3.23% or 55 points to end at 1757 and Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) was up 2.77% or 3100 points to 115100 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which fell 7.12% or 487 points to trade at 6353 at the close. Perrigo (TA:PRGO) declined 1.08% or 810 points to end at 74490 and Azrieli Group (TA:AZRG) was down 0.92% or 150 points to 16100.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 213 to 126 and 114 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.66% or 0.96 to $58.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.90% or 1.18 to hit $63.21 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.33% or 3.90 to trade at $1171.30 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.78% to 3.8637, while EUR/ILS fell 0.37% to 4.2926.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.93% at 96.38.
