Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Banking, Financials and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 rose 0.36% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were Nice (TA:NICE), which rose 2.82% or 670 points to trade at 24390 at the close. Meanwhile, Kenon Holdings Ltd (TA:KEN) added 2.00% or 151.00 points to end at 7700.00 and Azrieli Group (TA:AZRG) was up 1.99% or 320 points to 16370 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Gazit Globe (TA:GZT), which fell 2.19% or 110 points to trade at 4920 at the close. Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) declined 1.91% or 2000 points to end at 102600 and Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) was down 1.61% or 24 points to 1465.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 190 to 151 and 115 ended unchanged.
Shares in Azrieli Group (TA:AZRG) rose to all time highs; rising 1.99% or 320 to 16370.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 1.34% or 0.65 to $48.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 2.02% or 1.14 to hit $55.16 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.22% or 2.60 to trade at $1187.90 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.28% to 3.9763, while EUR/ILS fell 0.36% to 4.2711.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.36% at 98.66.
