Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Real Estate, Communication and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 rose 0.18%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were Delek Drillin L (TA:DEDRp), which rose 2.33% or 34 points to trade at 1495 at the close. Meanwhile, Nice (TA:NICE) added 2.15% or 500 points to end at 23780 and Azrieli Group (TA:AZRG) was up 1.61% or 250 points to 15750 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which fell 4.07% or 239 points to trade at 5635 at the close. Melisron (TA:MLSR) declined 1.64% or 250 points to end at 15040 and International (TA:FTIN) was down 1.08% or 58 points to 5302.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 197 to 128 and 132 ended unchanged.
Shares in Azrieli Group (TA:AZRG) rose to all time highs; gaining 1.61% or 250 to 15750.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 1.66% or 0.79 to $48.30 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 1.24% or 0.69 to hit $55.80 a barrel, while the April Gold contract rose 0.52% or 6.20 to trade at $1197.60 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.88% to 3.9555, while EUR/ILS rose 1.46% to 4.3459.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.48% at 96.96.
