Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Banking, Communication and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 rose 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were Frutarom (TA:FRUT), which rose 2.07% or 370 points to trade at 18220 at the close. Meanwhile, Bezeq (TA:BEZQ) added 1.37% or 11.1 points to end at 824.0 and Mizrahi Tefahot (TA:MZTF) was up 1.07% or 49 points to 4639 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL), which fell 1.77% or 34 points to trade at 1892 at the close. Gazit Globe (TA:GZT) declined 1.33% or 53 points to end at 3940 and Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) was down 1.29% or 1100 points to 84000.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 171 to 166 and 114 ended unchanged.
Shares in Frutarom (TA:FRUT) rose to all time highs; rising 2.07% or 370 to 18220.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 2.95% or 1.27 to $41.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.26% or 0.57 to hit $44.88 a barrel, while the December Gold contract unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to trade at $1056.20 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.11% to 3.8839, while EUR/ILS fell 0.06% to 4.1152.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.19% at 100.05.
