Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Mining, Consumer Industry and Miscellaneous Industry sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index declined 0.40%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Alakasa Industrindo Tbk (JK:ALKA), which rose 25.00% or 120 points to trade at 600 at the close. Meanwhile, Inti Kapuas Arowana Tbk (JK:IIKP) added 20.65% or 640.00 points to end at 3740.00 and Eka Sari Lorena Transport Tbk (JK:LRNA) was up 10.81% or 16.00 points to 164.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bank Agris Tbk (JK:AGRS), which fell 15.15% or 20.00 points to trade at 112.00 at the close. Equity Development Investment (JK:GSMF) declined 13.08% or 14 points to end at 93 and Voksel Electric Tbk (JK:VOKS) was down 12.75% or 95 points to 650.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 195 to 132 and 42 ended unchanged.
Shares in Bank Agris Tbk (JK:AGRS) fell to all time lows; down 15.15% or 20.00 to 112.00. Shares in Inti Kapuas Arowana Tbk (JK:IIKP) rose to all time highs; gaining 20.65% or 640.00 to 3740.00.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.38% or 0.80 to $58.48 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.07% or 0.67 to hit $63.25 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.10% or 1.20 to trade at $1190.00 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.20% to 13221.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.30% to 10076.75.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.18% at 96.95.
