Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Agriculture, Property and Trade sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index lost 0.19%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Victoria Investama Tbk (JK:VICO), which rose 27.37% or 26 points to trade at 121 at the close. Meanwhile, Metro Realty Tbk (JK:MTSM) added 22.70% or 74 points to end at 400 and Intikeramik Alamasri Industri (JK:IKAI) was up 13.92% or 11 points to 90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Verena Multi Finance Tbk (JK:VRNA), which fell 10.00% or 16 points to trade at 144 at the close. Bank Qnb Indonesia Tbk (JK:BKSW) declined 9.88% or 34 points to end at 310 and Dharma Satya Nusantara Tbk (JK:DSNG) was down 9.76% or 48 points to 444.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 200 to 102 and 95 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.44% or 0.67 to $46.00 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.37% or 0.66 to hit $47.48 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.73% or 9.45 to trade at $1297.45 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.05% to 13057.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.27% to 9927.10.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.21% at 97.55.
