Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Miscellaneous Industry, Agriculture and Manufacturing sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index gained 0.37%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Lotte Chemical Titan Tbk (JK:FPNI), which rose 23.08% or 18 points to trade at 96 at the close. Meanwhile, Eratex Djaja Tbk (JK:ERTX) added 15.12% or 155 points to end at 1180 and Jakarta Int Hotels & Dev (JK:JIHD) was up 14.29% or 100 points to 800 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Indo Kordsa Tbk (JK:BRAM), which fell 20.00% or 1375 points to trade at 6875 at the close. Bank Qnb Indonesia Tbk (JK:BKSW) declined 19.46% or 145 points to end at 600 and Toba Pulp Lestari Tbk (JK:INRU) was down 17.00% or 85 points to 415.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 182 to 166 and 38 ended unchanged.
Shares in Indo Kordsa Tbk (JK:BRAM) fell to all time highs; losing 20.00% or 1375 to 6875. Shares in Eratex Djaja Tbk (JK:ERTX) rose to all time highs; up 15.12% or 155 to 1180.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.89% or 0.53 to $59.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.65% or 0.43 to hit $66.89 a barrel, while the June Gold contract unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to trade at $1186.80 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.69% to 13060.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.47% to 10239.00.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.18% at 95.75.
