Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Basic Industry, Consumer Industry and Manufacturing sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index added 0.16%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Radana Bhaskara Finance Tbk (JK:HDFA), which rose 20.00% or 25 points to trade at 150 at the close. Meanwhile, Mitra Komunikasi Nusantara Tbk PT (JK:MKNT) added 18.57% or 78 points to end at 498 and Surya Esa Perkasa Tbk (JK:ESSA) was up 16.00% or 200 points to 1450 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Centratama Telekomunikasi Ind (JK:CENT), which fell 9.93% or 14 points to trade at 127 at the close. Bank Mayapada Internasional (JK:MAYA) declined 9.84% or 310 points to end at 2840 and Maskapai Reasuransi Indonesia (JK:MREI) was down 9.83% or 470 points to 4310.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 158 to 116 and 98 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.11% or 0.05 to $46.37 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.76% or 0.36 to hit $48.01 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.29% or 3.85 to trade at $1340.85 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.05% to 13058.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.05% to 10016.45.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.03% at 95.34.
