Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Travel, Financials and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General-Composite lost 0.68%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General-Composite were J. & P. Avax (AT:AVAr), which rose 10.00% or 0.030 points to trade at 0.330 at the close. Meanwhile, Papoutsanis (AT:PSALr) added 10.00% or 0.011 points to end at 0.120 and Flexopack SA (AT:FLXr) was up 9.78% or 0.2700 points to 3.0300 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Centric Hold (AT:DESr), which fell 10.00% or 0.010 points to trade at 0.090 at the close. Selonda Aquaculture SA (AT:SELr) declined 6.25% or 0.0090 points to end at 0.1350 and Ellaktor SA (AT:HELr) was down 3.85% or 0.050 points to 1.250.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 49 to 46 and 28 ended unchanged.
Shares in Flexopack SA (AT:FLXr) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 9.78% or 0.2700 to 3.0300.
Gold for December delivery was down 0.11% or 1.45 to $1324.55 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 0.86% or 0.41 to hit $48.24 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract rose 0.78% or 0.39 to trade at $50.20 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.20% to 1.1241, while EUR/GBP fell 0.18% to 0.8637.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.13% at 95.31.
