Investing.com – Greece stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Healthcare, Retail and Food sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General-Composite added 0.56%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General-Composite were Iaso (AT:IASr), which rose 5.23% or 0.028 points to trade at 0.563 at the close. Meanwhile, Autohellas (AT:AUTr) added 4.76% or 0.50 points to end at 11.00 and Grivalia Properties REIC (AT:GRIr) was up 3.26% or 0.26 points to 8.24 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Attica Bank (AT:BOAr), which fell 14.29% or 0.004 points to trade at 0.024 at the close. F.G. Europe (AT:ESKr) declined 7.46% or 0.050 points to end at 0.620 and J. & P. Avax (AT:AVAr) was down 5.10% or 0.018 points to 0.335.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 45 to 42 and 6 ended unchanged.
Shares in Attica Bank (AT:BOAr) fell to all time lows; falling 14.29% or 0.004 to 0.024.
Gold for December delivery was up 0.44% or 5.10 to $1161.00 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 2.28% or 1.13 to hit $48.50 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract fell 1.66% or 0.88 to trade at $52.03 a barrel.
EUR/USD was down 0.02% to 1.1358, while EUR/GBP fell 0.20% to 0.7405.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.05% at 94.89.
