Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Technology, Financials and Utilities sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.86%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which rose 2.99% or 0.0840 points to trade at 2.8980 at the close. Meanwhile, Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE) added 2.39% or 0.50 points to end at 21.40 and Elisa Oyj (HE:ELI1V) was up 1.33% or 0.41 points to 31.34 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which fell 2.29% or 0.088 points to trade at 3.752 at the close. Valmt (HE:VALMT) declined 2.23% or 0.21 points to end at 9.19 and Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V) was down 2.21% or 0.84 points to 37.16.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 108 to 59 and 8 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for December delivery was up 0.54% or 0.27 to $50.52 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 1.21% or 0.57 to hit $47.67 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.18% or 2.10 to trade at $1166.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.24% to 1.1387, while EUR/GBP rose 0.95% to 0.7470.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.13% at 94.77.
