Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Technology, Consumer Goods and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.80%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which rose 5.84% or 0.2300 points to trade at 4.1680 at the close. Meanwhile, Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) added 0.85% or 0.30 points to end at 35.67 and Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V) was up 0.68% or 0.26 points to 38.27 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:NRE1V), which fell 2.82% or 0.94 points to trade at 32.41 at the close. Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) declined 2.17% or 0.80 points to end at 36.10 and Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) was down 2.01% or 0.102 points to 4.978.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 88 to 84 and 18 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for September delivery was down 0.22% or 0.11 to $50.24 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in August fell 0.22% or 0.11 to hit $48.88 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 1.12% or 15.05 to trade at $1354.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.06% to 1.1145, while EUR/GBP fell 0.11% to 0.8385.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.10% at 95.62.
