Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.72% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Kesko Oyj B (HE:KESBV), which rose 0.55% or 0.19 points to trade at 34.86 at the close. Meanwhile, Fortum Oyj (HE:FUM1V) added 0.31% or 0.04 points to end at 12.77 and Kemira Oyj (HE:KRA1V) was up 0.19% or 0.02 points to 10.44 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE), which fell 2.29% or 0.66 points to trade at 28.19 at the close. Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) declined 1.90% or 0.088 points to end at 4.552 and Nordea Bank AB (publ) FDR (HE:NDA1V) was down 1.58% or 0.130 points to 8.115.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 113 to 54 and 21 ended unchanged.
Shares in Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) fell to 52-week lows; down 1.90% or 0.088 to 4.552.
Brent oil for July delivery was down 1.01% or 0.48 to $47.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in June fell 0.56% or 0.26 to hit $45.97 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.41% or 5.25 to trade at $1270.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.46% to 1.1373, while EUR/GBP fell 0.46% to 0.7873.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.35% at 94.13.
