Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Technology, Financials and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.47%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE), which rose 9.89% or 3.03 points to trade at 33.67 at the close. Meanwhile, Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) added 2.80% or 0.1400 points to end at 5.1400 and Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) was up 0.93% or 0.24 points to 25.91 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were YIT Oyj (HE:YTY1V), which fell 10.72% or 0.74 points to trade at 6.17 at the close. Valmt (HE:VALMT) declined 5.00% or 0.61 points to end at 11.60 and Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) was down 1.99% or 0.105 points to 5.160.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 105 to 72 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE) rose to all time highs; up 9.89% or 3.03 to 33.67. Shares in Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 2.80% or 0.1400 to 5.1400.
Brent oil for October delivery was down 1.55% or 0.68 to $43.23 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 1.91% or 0.80 to hit $41.12 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.49% or 6.55 to trade at $1341.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.21% to 1.1083, while EUR/GBP rose 0.81% to 0.8431.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.16% at 96.60.
