Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Industrials, Consumer Goods and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.45%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Elisa Oyj (HE:ELI1V), which rose 2.02% or 0.64 points to trade at 32.35 at the close. Meanwhile, TeliaSonera AB (HE:TLS1V) added 1.52% or 0.068 points to end at 4.548 and Nordea Bank AB (publ) FDR (HE:NDA1V) was up 1.46% or 0.150 points to 10.410 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which fell 3.90% or 0.144 points to trade at 3.552 at the close. Metso Oyj (HE:MEO1V) declined 3.73% or 0.80 points to end at 20.67 and Valmt (HE:VALMT) was down 3.24% or 0.29 points to 8.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 96 to 77 and 10 ended unchanged.
Shares in Elisa Oyj (HE:ELI1V) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 2.02% or 0.64 to 32.35.
Brent oil for December delivery was up 0.39% or 0.20 to $49.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 0.69% or 0.32 to hit $46.70 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.52% or 6.20 to trade at $1181.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.18% to 1.1367, while EUR/GBP fell 0.01% to 0.7361.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.24% at 94.68.
