Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Consumer Goods, Technology and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.25%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which rose 1.34% or 0.0850 points to trade at 6.4200 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordea Bank AB (publ) FDR (HE:NDA1V) added 1.06% or 0.100 points to end at 9.545 and Elisa Oyj (HE:ELISA) was up 0.75% or 0.24 points to 32.12 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Metso Oyj (HE:METSO), which fell 4.74% or 1.24 points to trade at 24.90 at the close. Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) declined 2.29% or 0.61 points to end at 26.00 and Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) was down 1.08% or 0.44 points to 40.30.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 92 to 75 and 22 ended unchanged.
Shares in Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) rose to 52-week highs; rising 1.34% or 0.0850 to 6.4200.
Brent oil for December delivery was up 0.53% or 0.27 to $51.65 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 0.16% or 0.08 to hit $50.71 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.18% or 2.25 to trade at $1265.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.56% to 1.0867, while EUR/GBP fell 0.22% to 0.8899.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.47% at 98.75.
