Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Financials and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.16%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which rose 1.81% or 0.1100 points to trade at 6.1850 at the close. Meanwhile, Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) added 1.40% or 0.36 points to end at 26.16 and Kesko Oyj B (HE:KESBV) was up 1.34% or 0.57 points to 43.17 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV), which fell 1.29% or 0.105 points to trade at 8.050 at the close. Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB) declined 0.97% or 0.050 points to end at 5.110 and Sampo Oyj A (HE:SAMPO) was down 0.89% or 0.37 points to 41.23.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 94 to 78 and 21 ended unchanged.
Shares in Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 1.81% or 0.1100 to 6.1850. Shares in Kesko Oyj B (HE:KESBV) rose to 5-year highs; rising 1.34% or 0.57 to 43.17.
Brent oil for December delivery was down 1.21% or 0.63 to $51.32 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 1.33% or 0.67 to hit $49.68 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.11% or 1.35 to trade at $1256.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.18% to 1.0992, while EUR/GBP rose 0.23% to 0.9024.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.16% at 97.92.
